Description: This mixed media piece is another “slow cooker” for me! It’s based on a photo I took in 2010. The apartments are in Hong Kong, near the Central–Mid-Levels Escalator and Walkway System, the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world. The original photo's walls were white; the only color was a yellow banner (still shown in the painting) and plants. I added a lot of color. The street art is from Seattle, and the graffiti is home-grown in Indiana!
