About:  Sharing a Drink is a photo I took in Oslo, Norway, in 2016. The sculpture, created by the Danish sculpturer Per Palle Storm, is located in a small park surrounding the City Hall (Radhuset).

I usually concentrate on photos of places rather than animals. I envy the patience and skills of photographers of wildlife. While taking this photo, I discovered what it takes to succeed in that field.

I had to wait for the bird to make its way onto the bowl. In the meantime, I worried with each passing person, and the park was busy with people! I feared the bird would fly off. I also had to wait for other fellow admirers to move out of the photo.
