Pittsburgh - Art Print
Description
Pittsburgh is an exciting city. It has changed a lot since the 1960s, from a steel town to a city vibrant with the arts. This is from a photo I took of a building on the river. It is called CAPA 6-12, which is a Creative and Performing Arts Magnet school for sixth through twelfth grades. I merged a photo of mushrooms (they kind of look like lemons in my painting!) I normally use only my own photos to create my art, but a long-time friend posted a photo of wild mushrooms growing on a tree stump on his land. I loved the photo and asked if I could incorporate it into a painting, and thankfully, he said yes! I discuss how I created this piece in my blog called How I Work. This is a print of a painting.
About the Prints
Art prints are produced on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee they last a lifetime without fading or losing color. All art prints include a 1" white border around the image, allowing for future framing and matting if desired.
