About the Painting: I usually don’t work with the figure or use symbolism, but events starting with the death of George Floyd demanded it.

As we all know, we witness massive, essential changes in this country involving civil rights. I knew my king needed to be shown with dignity but still be held down by the shackles that society has imposed.

Details: Print of painting. Limited copies of this print are available. 

Sizes: The large print is 11" wide x 14" tall. It is matted but not framed. The larger matted print will arrive ready to fit into your 20" x 16" frame. 

About the Mats: All materials used to mat are archival. Prints come in a clear, protective sleeve. The matt on the larger print is a white, single matt.
